# How can I change a cPanel account domain name or username via WHM?

This guide will show you how to change the domain or username associated with a cPanel account using WHM.

###### Steps to Change a cPanel User's Domain Name or Username:

1. **Log in to WHM.**
   * Access WHM using your reseller credentials.

2. **Navigate to List Accounts.**
   * In WHM, go to **Account Information** and click on **List Accounts**.

3. **Select the Account to Modify.**
   * Locate the cPanel account you want to change. Click the **plus (+)** icon on the left to expand the options for that account.

4. **Choose the Modify Account Option.**
   * Click on the **Modify Account** button.

5. **Change Domain or Username:**
   * To change the **domain**, find the **Primary Domain** field and enter the new domain name.
   * To change the **username**, find the **Username** field and enter the new username.

6. **Review and Adjust Settings (Optional).**
   * While on this screen, you can also review and adjust other account settings, such as disk space quotas and email configurations.

7. **Save Changes.**
   * Scroll down and click the **Save** button to apply the modifications.

8. **Confirm Changes.**
   * If prompted, verify that the displayed information is correct and confirm the changes.
