# How do I add a new website as an Addon domain in cPanel?

If you'd like to add a new domain to run a new website, you can do this within the "Domains" option in cPanel. Addon domains count toward your number of unique websites and can have their own unique email accounts.

###### To add a new website as an Addon domain in cPanel, follow these steps:

1. **Log into your cPanel account.**
2. In the **Domains section**, click on **Domains**.
3. Click **Create a New Domain**.
4. Enter the domain name in the **Domain** field.
5. **Untick** the **Share document root** to allow this domain to show a different website.
6. Click **Submit**.

Your new website will now be available as an Addon domain, and you can start uploading your website files to the corresponding directory.
