# How do I cancel my service/hosting package?

To cancel your hosting package/service, please follow these steps:

1. Log in to the [Elitehost Client Area](https://my.elitehost.co.za/clientarea.php)
2. Click on **Services** and then select **My Services**.
3. **Locate the service** you wish to cancel.
4. Click on **Manage** Product.
5. On the left-hand side menu, click **Request Cancellation**.
6. **Provide the reason** for your cancellation.
7. Select the cancellation type: **Immediate** or **End of Billing Period**.
8. Click **Request Cancellation** to finalise the process.

If you select **Immediate**, the service will be cancelled within 24 hours. If you choose **End of Billing Period**, the service will remain active until the "Next Due Date", which can be found at the bottom of the **Information** tab.

|| Please be aware that all data associated with the service, including website files and email accounts, will be permanently removed from our servers.
