# How do I reinstall my VPS?

Reinstalling your VPS allows you to start fresh with a clean operating system. This process will **permanently delete all data** on the virtual server, so please ensure you have taken any necessary backups before proceeding.

### Steps to reinstall your VPS:

1. **Log in** to the [Elitehost Client Area](https://my.elitehost.co.za/).
2. Click on **Services** and then select **My Services**.
3. Locate the VPS you wish to reinstall and click **Manage**.
4. In the left-hand menu under **Management**, click **Reinstall**.
5. Select the desired **OS Template** from the list.
6. Click **Reinstall OS**.
7. Confirm the action by clicking **Proceed with Reinstallation**.
