# How do I set up my email account in Mac Mail?

Here’s how you can configure your email account on Mac Mail:

1. **Open Mail.**
   - Launch the **Mail** application on your Mac.

2. **Add a New Account.**
   - In the top bar, go to **Mail** and select **Add Account**.

3. **Select 'Add Other Mail Account'.**
   - A window will pop up; select **Add Other Mail Account** and click **Continue**.

4. **Enter Your Account Information:**
   - You will be prompted to enter the following details:
     - **Full Name**: Your full name.
     - **Email Address**: Your email address (e.g., yourname@exampledomain.co.za).
     - **Password**: The password for your email account.

5. **Sign In.**
   - After entering your details, click **Sign In** to proceed to the next page.

6. **Incoming & Outgoing Mail Server Info:**
   - Enter the following details:
     - **Email Address**: Your full email address (e.g., yourname@exampledomain.co.za).
     - **Username**: Your full email address.
     - **Password**: Your email account’s password.
     - **Account Type**: IMAP
     - **Incoming Mail Server**: mail.exampledomain.co.za
     - **Outgoing Mail Server**: mail.exampledomain.co.za

7. **Sign In Again.**
   - Click **Sign In** to verify the account information.

8. **Select the Apps.**
   - Choose the apps you want to use with this account (e.g., Mail, Notes).

9. **Click 'Done'.**
   - Your email account setup is complete!
