# How do I update the contact information for my domain?

To review and update the contact details associated with your domain, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to the [Elitehost Client Area](https://my.elitehost.co.za/clientarea.php).
2. Log in with your client account credentials. *(Refer to: [How do I log in to my Elitehost account?](/en/article/how-do-i-login-to-my-elitehost-account-13epixb/))*
3. Click on **Domains** in the navigation menu.  
4. Select **My Domains** from the dropdown list.  
5. Find the domain you want to update and click **Manage** next to it.  
6. In the left sidebar, select **Contact Information**.  
7. Review the details and update them if required, then click **Save Changes**.  

||| If the domain has been registered/transferred on behalf of someone, the contact information needs to be updated to theirs.

### Important Information:

* For **.co.za domains**, contact detail updates take up to **5 days** to be processed.
* For **.com** and other international domains, updates are processed **immediately**. However, due to **ICANN policies**, you will receive an email to verify any changes to the registrant information. Look out for an email with the subject **"IMMEDIATE VERIFICATION"** to complete this process. Please note, this does not apply to **.co.za** domains.
