# I have Auto-Invoice for Renewal enabled, why is my domain not being renewed?

Having Auto-Invoice for Renewal enabled does not automatically renew your domain. Auto-Invoice for Renewal simply allows the system to generate a domain renewal invoice. To renew your domain, the invoice must be paid by or before its due date.
