What are Elitehost's Nameservers (DNS)?

In short, Elitehost’s nameservers are ns3.za-dns.com and ns5.za-dns.com. These nameservers are essential for connecting your domain to our hosting services.

To successfully connect your domain with Elitehost, it is essential to update your nameservers. The nameservers associated with your domain indicate where your website is hosted. This step is crucial for ensuring that your domain functions correctly with your hosting account.

If you registered your domain name with Elitehost during the signup process, we have already configured the nameservers for you, and no further action is required on your part. However, if your domain name is not registered with us, you will need to access the website of the company where you registered your domain and modify the DNS settings to point to Elitehost.

The following nameservers are utilised for all shared and reseller hosting packages at Elitehost:

NameserverIP Address
ns3.za-dns.com162.159.24.251
ns5.za-dns.com162.159.25.15

Updating the nameservers for your domain name at your registrar should be a straightforward process. Locate the control panel where you can edit or change the nameservers and input the Elitehost nameservers provided above. If there are additional fields for nameservers beyond the primary and secondary options, you may leave those blank.

If you encounter any difficulties while updating the nameservers for your domain name, please contact the registrar where you purchased the domain and request their assistance with the update.

While we provide only two nameservers, they are supported by Cloudflare’s DNS Firewall. This setup enhances both performance and security by ensuring rapid response times and providing reliable protection against various online threats. With Cloudflare, DNS queries are handled efficiently, minimizing latency while safeguarding against potential attacks.
