# Why was my account forcefully upgraded?

Forceful upgrades occur when your account exceeds its disk quota and reaches the limits of the current package. In such cases, our technical support team will inform you about the need for an upgrade. If we do not receive a response, your account will be upgraded automatically to ensure it remains within the limits of the new package.
