How do I get a free SSL certificate for my website?

At Elitehost, we provide free SSL certificates through AutoSSL, issued by Let’s Encrypt.

Requesting a free SSL certificate

Log in to cPanel:

Navigate to Security -> SSL/TLS Status:

Open the Wizard tab.
Click on the domain you would like to secure.
Click Continue
Select Let's Encrypt Certificate and Continue.

The SSL Certificate is usually issued within a few minutes.

Confirming the SSL Certificate has been installed:

In SSL/TLS Status, open the Status Tab.
Locate the domain and verify that a valid SSL Certificate is listed.

AutoSSL runs automatically once per day and will renew any certificates that are nearing expiration. Please ensure your domain is pointing to our servers before requesting an SSL Certificate.
