How do I install my paid SSL certificate using AutoInstall in cPanel?

If you've purchased an SSL certificate from Elitehost, you can easily install it using the AutoInstall feature in cPanel. This guide will walk you through the steps to get your SSL certificate up and running on your website. If you haven't purchased an SSL certificate yet, you can do so here.

Steps to Install Your Paid SSL Certificate

Check Your Email for Enrollment Steps:
After purchasing your SSL certificate, you will receive an email titled "Your SSL Certificate - Enrollment Steps." This email contains essential information needed for installation.

Log into your cPanel account:
Access your cPanel account using your credentials. (Refer to our article: How do I log into cPanel?)

Navigate to AutoInstall SSL:
In the cPanel dashboard, find the Security section and click on the AutoInstall SSL icon.

Enter Your Token:
You will be prompted to enter the Token provided in the email you received after your SSL purchase.

Install the SSL Certificate:
After entering the Token, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process. The system will automatically install the SSL certificate for your selected domain.

Verify the Installation:
Once the installation is complete, you can check the SSL/TLS Status page to ensure that your SSL certificate has been installed correctly. You should see a status of "Certificate installed" next to your domain.

If you encounter any issues during the installation process, ensure that your domain is using our name servers. If the domain is pointed elsewhere, you may need to update your DNS settings.
