How do I restore my website using Acronis?
In order to fully restore a website, both the files and the database should usually be restored. The steps for both actions are provided below.
To restore the account to a specific date, please follow these steps:
Log into your cPanel account.
Go to Acronis Backup.
Select the desired date you would like to roll back to.
Go to Files.
Check the Public_html folder box (only select the Public_html folder).
Click Recover.
Log into your cPanel account.
Go to Acronis Backup.
Select the desired date you would like to roll back to.
Go to Database.
Select the database you wish to restore.
Click Recover.
Once you initiate the recovery, you can monitor the progress in the Operation Log tab within Acronis Backup. This log will provide updates on the restoration status, helping you keep track of the process.
After completing both the file and database restoration, your website should resume normal functionality.
