What is LiteSpeed Cache?

LiteSpeed Cache is a powerful caching solution that can significantly enhance the performance of your WordPress site. By implementing this plugin, you can dramatically reduce load times and optimize resource usage on your account.

LiteSpeed Cache functions by utilizing the LiteSpeed Web server to cache or store copies of each page on your website. This process speeds up page load times since the server can deliver cached pages directly, rather than regenerating them each time they are requested. This leads to a much faster experience for your visitors.

Caching allows the web server to retain copies of pages it has already served. When a page is requested again, the server sends the cached version, saving the time needed to create that page anew. This not only improves load times but also enhances overall user satisfaction.

We recommend using only one caching or optimization plugin. The LiteSpeed Cache plugin is specifically designed to work seamlessly with your LiteSpeed web server, offering comprehensive caching and optimization features. If you decide to use the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, it’s advisable to deactivate and remove any other caching or optimization plugins you may have previously installed.

What is object caching?

An object cache stores the results of expensive and/or frequent database queries in a way that makes them easy to retrieve, and eliminates the need for repeated access to the database. Object caching greatly reduces the time it takes to retrieve query results.
