How can I allow or block email addresses using SpamAssassin?
SpamAssassin, included with all hosting packages, enables you to fine-tune spam filtering by adding email addresses or domains to whitelists (emails always allowed) and blacklists (emails never allowed). Follow these steps to manage your spam filter settings effectively.
Note: Before managing whitelists or blacklists, ensure that SpamAssassin is enabled. For detailed instructions, refer to our guide: I am receiving too much spam. How can I reduce it?.
Whitelists ensure you receive emails from trusted senders that SpamAssassin might incorrectly mark as spam.
Steps to Add an Email Address to the Whitelist:
Access Spam Filters:
Log in to cPanel and click on Spam Filters in the Email section.
